In a perfect world, video game magazines would use the word "exclusive" sparingly. When you saw a feature with "Exclusive!" above it, you would know that they had uncovered something huge and that no one else knew about it yet. Unfortunately, this is far from the case. Many magazines throw the word "exclusive" around loosely, attaching it to previews or stories even when they've already appeared in other magazines or will shortly. The term is thrown around so much that it has lost whatever meaning it once had. Instead of recognizing it as a big deal that no one else has reported on, it is seen as just another over-used catch phrase, and in many cases a blatant lie. Am I right or am I right?
