Why the heck can't I go to the store and rent PC games? I rent console games 99% of the time before buying them because there's nothing worse than getting caught up in the hype and buying a game I don't like. But with PC games, there are no rentals. I either have to take a chance and risk wasting my money, or (as is the case more often) I just don't buy a game that might be awesome. Either way it's a shame. I can understand the concern that people would just pirate the PC games, but maybe rentals could be limited to games which require the CD to run. And really, the sad truth of the matter is that people who want to pirate games are probably going to find a way to pirate them anyway. The amount of PC games I buy, and perhaps the overall business of PC games, would skyrocket if only we could all try before we buy. Feedback on this issue is welcome.
